टोक्यो समर डेफ्लिंपिक्स में भारत की प्रांजली प्रशांत धूमल ने 25 मीटर पिस्टल में जीता स्वर्ण

टोक्यो : भारत की प्रांजली प्रशांत धूमल ने जापान की राजधानी टोक्यो में 25वें समर डेफ्लिंपिक्स में सोमवार को महिलाओं की 25 मीटर पिस्टल स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीत लिया। यह उनका दूसरा स्वर्ण और इस संस्करण का तीसरा पदक है।

 

फाइनल में प्रांजली ने 34 अंकों के साथ पहला स्थान हासिल किया। यूक्रेन की हलीना मोसीना (32 अंक, रजत) दूसरे स्थान पर रहीं । कोरिया की जीवॉन जिऑन ने 30 अंकों के साथ कांस्य जीता। उन्होंने भारत की अनुया प्रसाद को शूट-ऑफ में मात दी। अनुया चौथे स्थान पर रहीं। इससे पहले प्रांजली अभिनव देशवाल के साथ 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल मिश्रित टीम स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीत चुकी हैं। अभिनव ने पुरुषों की 25 मीटर पिस्टल स्पर्धा में भी स्वर्ण जीता।

 

फाइनल में प्रांजली ने शुरुआत से ही बढ़त बनाई। पहले सीरीज में उन्होंने पांच में से चार शॉट्स में निशाना साधा और नौवीं सीरीज तक बढ़त बनाए रखी। इस दौरान वह मोसीना के साथ 30-30 अंकों पर बराबरी पर रहीं। दसवीं और अंतिम सीरीज में प्रांजली ने चार सटीक शॉट लगाए। मोसीना केवल दो ही शॉट लगा सकीं। इसी के साथ भारतीय निशानेबाज ने स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया।

 

क्वालिफिकेशन में भी भारतीय निशानेबाजों का दबदबा रहा। प्रांजली ने शीर्ष दो स्थानों में जगह बनाते हुए फाइनल के लिए क्वालीफाई किया और विश्व डेफ क्वालिफिकेशन रिकॉर्ड तथा डेफ्लिंपिक्स रिकॉर्ड तोड़ते हुए इतिहास रच दिया। उन्होंने 573-14x का स्कोर बनाया, जो उनके अपने ही पिछले वर्ष हैनोवर में हुए वर्ल्ड डेफ शूटिंग चैंपियनशिप में बनाए गए विश्व रिकॉर्ड से बेहतर है। अनुया प्रसाद 569-15x के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर रहीं। भारतीय निशानेबाज अब तक डेफ्लिंपिक्स में कुल 16 पदक जीत चुके हैं। इनमें सात स्वर्ण, छह रजत और तीन कांस्य शामिल हैं। शूटिंग स्पर्धाओं का समापन कल होगा। कल पुरुषों की 25 मीटर रैपिड फायर पिस्टल स्पर्धा के पदक तय किए जा
