16 अप्रैल 2017 को दर्ज इस मुकदमे में नूतन ने साक्ष्यों के आधार पर आरोप लगाया था कि श्री अब्बास ने गाजियाबाद की एक औरत के नाम की एक फर्जी शिकायत बना कर उसे 27 अप्रैल 2015 को सिपाही मजहर खान को जाँच में देने की बात लिखी. इस शिकायतीपत्र में न तो कोई तारीख थी और न ही इस पर कथित प्रार्थिनी के हस्ताक्षर थे. बाद में जब नूतन ने एसएसपी लखनऊ से आरटीआई में सूचना मांगी तो पता चला कि इस महिला की ओर से ऐसा कोई शिकायती प्रार्थनापत्र थाने के अभिलेखों में नहीं पाया गया.

लगभग साढ़े तीन साल की विवेचना के बाद डीसीपी क्राइम पी के तिवारी ने नूतन को बताया है कि तमाम विवेचना के बाद श्री अब्बास के खिलाफ पर्याप्त साक्ष्य पाए जाने पर शासन से अभियोजन स्वीकृति मांगी गयी है. अभियोजन स्वीकृति प्राप्त होने के बाद अग्रिम कार्यवाही की जाएगी.

Ex-SO Gomtinagar found guilty, prosecution sanction sought

In the FIR registered at Gomtinagar by activist Dr Nutan Thakur against ex SO Gomtinagar Sayed Mohammad Abbas, the Crime Branch of Lucknow Police has found Sri Abbas guilty of creating forged documents to causing harm to her and her husband IPS officer Amitabh Thakur.

In the case registered on 16 April 2017, Nutan had alleged that Sri Abbas prepared a false document in the name of a Ghaziabad woman, marking it on 27 April 2015 to Constable Mazhar Khan to enquire the matter. This complaint was undated and did not even have the complainant’s signature. Later Nutan sought information from SSP Lucknow to find that there was no complaint of this nature in the police station records.

After investigating the matter for around 3.5 years, DCP Crime P K Tiwari has informed Nutan that enough evidence has been found against Sri Abbas and hence prosecution sanction has been sought from the Government against him. Further action shall be taken after grant of prosecution sanction.
